This snugly little country town in the southeast of the island is located almost 60 km away from Palma, only a few minutes away from the cost. While the cityscape is affected by the historic city wall and original architecture with golden sandstone, the hinterland enchant with widespread almond trees, just in times of boom. Although Santanyi possesses no industry at all and only a very few tourism, ones can find a diversified choice of bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. Outside of Santanyi the Nature Park Mondrago offers recreation and swimming fun at its fair and beautiful beaches
